Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Front Desk Receptionist to become the welcoming face of our hotel. As the first point of contact for guests, the receptionist plays a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience, ensuring smooth operations, and upholding the high standards of hospitality that define our brand. Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests promptly and courteously, creating a warm first impression.
  • Manage the check‑in and check‑out processes efficiently, verifying identification, processing payments, and issuing room keys.
  • Handle phone inquiries, reservations, and email correspondence, providing accurate information about room rates, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Maintain an organized front‑desk log, recording guest arrivals, departures, and special requests.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared and any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements, and concierge services, such as restaurant reservations and tour bookings.
  • Process billing statements, manage cash drawer, and reconcile daily financial transactions.
  • Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Promote hotel services and upsell additional amenities like spa packages, dining options, and event spaces.
  • Ensure the front‑desk area remains tidy, presentable, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Up to 25 years old.
  • Gender: Open to all genders (the role historically prefers female candidates, but we encourage all qualified applicants to apply).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
  • Professional appearance and a friendly demeanor.
  • High level of honesty, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and demonstrated loyalty.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Basic computer literacy, familiarity with reservation software and MS Office.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer‑service role is a plus but not required.
