Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Staff QA (Quality Assurance) professional to join our laboratory team in Wanaherang, Bogor. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non‑routine analytical testing on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished goods using validated laboratory methods.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of test results, calibration logs, and equipment maintenance in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ISO 9001 standards.
- Identify, document, and investigate any deviations or non‑conformities, and work with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and review quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and batch release reports.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing required evidence and supporting auditors during inspections.
- Operate, clean, and calibrate laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers, HPLC, and microbiology incubators, ensuring they remain within specification.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support product development, validation studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to the three‑shift schedule (morning, evening, night) and ensure seamless hand‑over of data and observations between shifts.
- Utilize computer systems for data entry, sample tracking, and generation of quality reports, demonstrating strong IT proficiency.
- Mentor junior lab staff and promote a culture of safety, accuracy, and accountability.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific field.
- At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience; recent graduates with up to 2 years of experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of microbiology techniques and quality control instrumentation.
- Proven ability to work meticulously, follow SOPs, and produce reliable data.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work rotating three‑shift schedules (08:00‑17:00, 16:00‑01:00, 00:00‑09:00).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
