Introduction

The Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC – Wilayah Kabupaten Sinjai is a front‑line position focused on expanding the adoption of electronic debit/credit (EDC) terminals among micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) throughout the Sinjai regency. As a key member of our sales team, you will act as the primary point of contact for prospective merchants, introducing them to the benefits of modern payment solutions, and guiding them through the acquisition process. This role offers a dynamic blend of field‑based canvassing, relationship building, and target‑driven performance in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily door‑to‑door canvassing visits to UMKM owners, presenting the features and advantages of our EDC machines.
  • Achieve a minimum sales target of 2–3 EDC units per day, tracking progress against individual and regional goals.
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, networking events, and referrals, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential merchants.
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, answer technical questions, and provide on‑site assistance during the installation phase.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and contract statuses using the company’s CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and support teams to develop promotional offers and resolve any post‑sale issues promptly.
  • Report weekly performance metrics to the sales manager, including conversion rates, challenges faced, and market insights.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting electronic payment services.
  • Uphold the company’s brand reputation by delivering professional, courteous, and ethical service at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in financial services, technology, or retail equipment.
  • Valid SIM C and ownership of a two‑wheel vehicle for daily travel across the Sinjai district.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with diverse merchants.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
  • Basic analytical skills to interpret sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility for occasional weekend events.
