We are seeking a dynamic Sales Canvasser – Handphone to join our growing team in Balikpapan. This front‑line sales position focuses on promoting and selling mobile phones and accessories directly to customers through door‑to‑door visits, local events, and community outreach. Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted canvassing activities across designated neighborhoods and commercial zones in Balikpapan, presenting product features, pricing, and promotional offers.
- Identify prospective customers, generate leads, and follow up on inquiries to convert interest into sales.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest handphone models, accessories, and emerging technologies to answer technical questions confidently.
- Demonstrate product usage and provide hands‑on assistance, ensuring customers understand the benefits and proper handling of each item.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets, reporting performance metrics to the regional sales manager.
- Collect customer feedback and market intelligence, relaying insights that can influence product selection, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure all sales documentation, receipts, and inventory logs are accurately completed and submitted on time.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company’s dress code, presenting a clean and courteous image at all times.
- Utilize personal motor vehicle responsibly for travel between canvassing zones, maintaining proper vehicle documentation and insurance.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product workshops, and team meetings to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in consumer electronics or mobile accessories.
- Own a reliable motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong persuasive selling abilities and a results‑driven mindset.
- High level of self‑motivation, punctuality, and a willingness to learn new product lines.
- Professional, tidy appearance and adherence to a modest dress code.

- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 09:00‑18:00.
