Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging English language lessons aligned with the national curriculum and international standards.
- Prepare weekly lesson plans, instructional materials, and multimedia resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, oral presentations, and standardized tests, providing constructive feedback.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular English activities such as debate clubs, spelling bees, and language immersion camps.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, department heads, and curriculum coordinators to integrate interdisciplinary projects.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events to stay current with educational best practices.
- Utilize technology platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, learning management systems) to enhance classroom interaction and remote learning capabilities.
- Mentor junior teachers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the English department.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) – preferably in English Education, TESOL, or a related field; final semester candidates are also considered.
