Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Executive to lead our reseller development efforts in the Samarinda region. This role is essential for expanding our presence in the commercial refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HORECA markets. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical abilities with excellent relationship‑building skills, and will be fluent in Mandarin to effectively communicate with a diverse range of partners.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential reseller stores, focusing on traditional retail outlets that serve the commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment sectors.
- Build and nurture long‑term partnerships with resellers, ensuring mutual growth and satisfaction.
- Monitor reseller performance on a regular basis, using KPIs such as sales volume, order frequency, and market coverage.
- Communicate promotional programs, special discounts, and new product launches to reseller networks.
- Assist resellers in designing localized marketing strategies, including in‑store displays, sampling events, and digital campaigns.
- Conduct market analysis to uncover emerging trends, competitor activities, and untapped opportunities, then translate findings into actionable sales plans.
- Resolve any complaints or operational issues faced by resellers promptly and professionally.
- Perform periodic stock audits to ensure product availability and prevent out‑of‑stock situations.
- Coordinate with Sales Promotion Managers (SPM) and Sales Promotion Girls (SPG) to align on sales targets, forecast revenue, and optimize field activities.
- Visit stores regularly to verify product display compliance, visual merchandising standards, and brand consistency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate degree) or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience dealing with traditional reseller channels in the commercial refrigeration, kitchen equipment, or HORECA industry.
- Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to facilitate clear communication with regional partners.
- Valid Indonesian driving licenses: SIM A (car) and SIM C (motorcycle).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentation purposes.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting sales data and market research.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently while aligning with cross‑functional teams.
