Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Supir Truk Pengiriman Barang Jarak Jauh to join our growing logistics team. This position is based in the Greater Tangerang area and focuses on long‑distance freight transportation, daily route planning, and hands‑on loading and unloading of goods. The ideal candidate is a reliable, safety‑conscious male driver with a valid SIM A, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn the nuances of regional distribution networks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize daily delivery routes using Google Maps and local knowledge to ensure timely and cost‑effective shipments.
- Perform loading and unloading of cargo, verifying product integrity and proper placement to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to maintain fleet safety standards.
- Assist with ancillary operational tasks, such as inventory checks, paperwork completion, and coordination with warehouse staff when the vehicle is not on the road.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status, delays, or special handling requirements.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies, including the proper use of safety equipment and compliance with load‑weight regulations.
- Continuously update route knowledge, especially within Kota Tangerang, Kabupaten Tangerang, and Tangerang Selatan, to improve efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and training sessions to stay current with best practices in cargo handling and driver safety.
Requirements
- Male applicant, minimum age of 18 years, physically fit and in good health.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Valid SIM A; experience driving a pick‑up truck is highly preferred.
- Honesty, discipline, strong initiative, and a genuine interest in learning logistics processes.
- Familiarity with road networks in Kota Tangerang, Kabupaten Tangerang, and Tangerang Selatan is an advantage.
- No mandatory prior work experience, though candidates with previous delivery or driving experience will be given priority.
- Basic proficiency with Google Maps and effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Willingness to work six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
