Introduction
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Motorist (FMCG) to join our dynamic distribution team covering the Majalengka region. As a Sales Motorist, you will be the face of our brand, delivering products to retail outlets, building lasting relationships, and driving sales performance on a daily route.
Responsibilities
- Execute direct sales visits to supermarkets, mini‑markets, warungs, and other retail outlets according to an assigned daily route.
- Present, demonstrate, and promote our FMCG product portfolio, highlighting key features, pricing, and promotional offers.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with store owners, managers, and purchasing agents to secure repeat business.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels on the motorbike, ensuring timely replenishment and preventing stock‑outs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer feedback, and stock movements using a handheld device or sales ledger.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports, including volume sold, revenue achieved, and any challenges encountered.
- Communicate new product launches, seasonal promotions, and marketing campaigns to customers, ensuring proper shelf placement and merchandising standards.
- Inspect store displays to guarantee compliance with brand guidelines, pricing tags, and promotional signage.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the regional sales manager.
- Provide on‑the‑spot problem solving for issues such as product returns, payment disputes, or logistical delays.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- No age limit; candidates of any age are welcome.
- Open to all genders.
- Zero to two years of experience in field sales, distribution, or retail merchandising (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Valid driver’s license for a motorbike and a clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport quickly.
- Ability to adapt rapidly to changing routes, customer needs, and promotional schedules.
- Basic numeracy and administrative aptitude for accurate sales logging and reporting.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to handle daily loading/unloading of product crates and to travel long distances on a motorbike.
