Introduction

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Motorist to join our dynamic team covering the Lahat region. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive on the open road, enjoy building relationships with customers, and are eager to drive sales growth for a reputable company in the automotive industry. The successful candidate will use their own motorcycle and a valid SIM C to travel across the assigned territory, delivering product information, gathering orders, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Travel daily throughout the Lahat area on a personal motorcycle to visit existing and prospective clients.
  • Present product catalogs, demonstrate features, and explain benefits of our automotive parts and accessories.
  • Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert prospects into loyal customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules while maintaining profitability targets.
  • Process orders using a mobile device, ensuring accurate entry and timely follow‑up with the logistics team.
  • Maintain a detailed activity log, including visit reports, sales figures, and market feedback.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales manager to develop weekly sales plans and achieve set quotas.
  • Provide after‑sales support, address customer inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product launches to position our offerings effectively.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding safety, documentation, and ethical sales practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Valid Indonesian driver’s license for motorcycles (SIM C) and personal motorcycle ownership.
  • No strict age limit; candidates of any age are encouraged to apply.
  • Open to all genders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Proven negotiation and sales persuasion abilities.
  • Basic proficiency with Android smartphones, mobile apps, and digital ordering platforms.
  • Self‑motivated with a genuine desire to succeed in a sales environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet daily travel schedules.
  • Willingness to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday), from 08:00 to 16:00.
  • No prior sales experience required; fresh graduates or candidates with up to 0 years of experience are welcome.
