Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer to join our expanding team in Pelaihari, Kalimantan. As a key member of our sales force, you will act as the bridge between our product portfolio and both existing and prospective customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a robust network within the region, enhance your negotiation skills, and contribute directly to the company’s revenue growth. The position is based in Pelaihari, with work hours from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Actively promote and sell the company’s products to existing clients and new prospects, ensuring a deep understanding of product features and benefits.
- Generate orders through various distribution channels, including direct sales, dealer networks, and retail partners.
- Collect initial customer data, conduct thorough verification, and prepare complete documentation for credit applications.
- Monitor the status of credit applications, maintain regular communication with dealers and customers, and convey approval or rejection decisions promptly.
- Inform customers about payment terms, due dates, and the locations where payments can be made, providing clear guidance on any additional requirements.
- Maintain accurate sales records, update the CRM system, and prepare weekly reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to relay market insights, customer objections, and emerging trends that could influence product development.
- Participate in regional sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events to stay current on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards throughout all sales activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (all majors) – graduates from any discipline are encouraged to apply.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in B2C sales, preferably within the same industry; fresh graduates with strong academic records are also welcome.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for client visits.
- Strong sales management abilities, including target orientation, pipeline development, and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in using basic office software and CRM tools to manage customer information and sales data.
- Flexibility to be placed in a location that matches the candidate’s domicile.
