Introduction
PT Rasau Jaya is a leading supplier of industrial equipment and consumer goods in the Kalimantan region. We are expanding our sales footprint and are looking for a dynamic Sales Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting our product portfolio to both existing and new customers, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring a seamless credit application process.
Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and approach existing customers and new leads across the Kalimantan territory to present Rasau Jaya’s product range.
- Generate and secure orders through the company’s distribution channels, ensuring accurate initial data entry and thorough verification of customer information.
- Prepare, collect, and complete all required documentation for customer credit applications, collaborating closely with the finance department.
- Monitor the progress of each credit application, provide timely updates to dealers and customers, and communicate approval or rejection decisions clearly.
- Inform customers about payment schedules, due dates, and collection locations, and address any additional inquiries they may have regarding invoices or service terms.
- Maintain a detailed sales pipeline using CRM tools, tracking key performance indicators such as order volume, conversion rates, and collection efficiency.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging opportunities, competitive threats, and customer needs, feeding insights back to product and marketing teams.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, present performance reports, and propose strategic initiatives to improve sales productivity.
- Uphold Rasau Jaya’s brand reputation by delivering professional, honest, and customer‑focused service at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 from any discipline.
- Age: Up to 30 years old; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Experience: At least 1 year in B2C sales or a related field; prior experience in credit processing is a plus.
- Key Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Effective negotiation and persuasion techniques.
- High integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Self‑motivation, resilience, and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in sales management, customer relationship management (CRM), and basic financial documentation.
- Technical Requirements: Own vehicle with a valid SIM A/C and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, with placement according to the candidate’s domicile.
