You will become the face of our brand in local pet‑shops, helping retailers stock our products and educating them on the benefits of premium nutrition.
Responsibilities
- Visit an assigned portfolio of pet‑shops in Jakarta Barat on a daily basis, typically covering 10 stores per day.
- Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our pet‑food range, tailoring the pitch to the specific needs of each retailer.
- Identify and open new accounts by prospecting untapped pet‑shops, negotiating shelf placement, and establishing initial orders.
- Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with store owners and managers through regular follow‑ups, promotional support, and problem‑solving.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth objectives of the region.
- Prepare accurate daily and weekly visit reports, recording sales volume, stock levels, and market feedback.
- Monitor competitor activity, price changes, and market trends, providing actionable insights to the marketing and product teams.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply‑chain issues that may arise.
- Participate in quarterly training sessions to stay updated on new product launches, promotional campaigns, and best sales practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 20‑35 years (both male and female candidates are welcome).
- At least 3 years of proven field sales experience, preferably within FMCG, pet‑care, or related consumer goods.
- Own a reliable motorcycle for daily travel within the designated area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust quickly with retailers.
- Highly disciplined, honest, and self‑motivated with a track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
- Basic analytical abilities to assess market data, competitor actions, and sales performance.
- Proficiency in using smartphones and simple reporting tools (e.g., WhatsApp, Google Sheets).
