Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Officer Komunitas to join our team in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. This full‑time position focuses on empowering low‑income women through financial literacy, micro‑enterprise support, and community development. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted liaison between the organization and the community, helping clients build sustainable businesses and improve their financial well‑being.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned neighborhoods and establish strong relationships with women‑focused micro‑entrepreneurs.
  • Provide one‑on‑one business coaching, covering topics such as basic bookkeeping, cash‑flow management, and disciplined savings habits.
  • Facilitate group‑based financing programs that deliver collateral‑free loans, ensuring that repayment schedules are understood and adhered to.
  • Conduct financial literacy workshops, using interactive tools and real‑life case studies to illustrate concepts like budgeting, credit use, and risk mitigation.
  • Listen actively to client needs, identify gaps in services, and coordinate with internal specialists to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate client records in the organization’s CRM system, preparing regular reports on outreach activities, loan performance, and impact metrics.
  • Collaborate with local partners, NGOs, and government agencies to expand the reach of empowerment programs.
  • Promote the organization’s brand and mission within the community, encouraging participation in upcoming initiatives and events.

Requirements

  • Female candidate, aged 18–33 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 or S1 is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm for meeting and helping people.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data entry.
  • Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently in field settings.
  • Demonstrated commitment to community service or prior experience in micro‑finance, NGOs, or social enterprises is an advantage.
