Introduction

The Senior Teaching Coordinator & Manager (STM) is a pivotal leadership role within our dynamic language‑learning network. Reporting to the Center Director, Production Manager, and our strategic Partner, the STM bridges the gap between sales, service, and academic teams to drive excellence in teaching delivery, student outcomes, and operational performance. This position is ideal for seasoned educators with a passion for curriculum development, team mentorship, and data‑driven decision making, who are eager to shape the future of English‑as‑a‑Foreign‑Language (EFL) instruction across multiple centers in Makassar and Manado.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain clear, two‑way communication channels among teachers, center staff, regional group leaders, and national headquarters.
  • Monitor and support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, new‑student conversion rates, staff and student retention, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Design, maintain, and continually refine teacher scheduling systems to maximize classroom utilization while respecting workload balance and professional development goals.
  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional growth of the academic team, including regular classroom observations, feedback sessions, and coaching workshops.
  • Coordinate with the Academic Operations Manager to align curriculum standards, assessment practices, and instructional resources across all partner centers.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, propose corrective actions, and implement best‑practice initiatives that elevate teaching quality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving student or parent concerns, ensuring swift, courteous, and solution‑focused outcomes.
  • Facilitate cross‑center collaboration, sharing successful teaching strategies, lesson plans, and innovative technologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee compliance with certification requirements, ensuring all teachers hold current TEFL/TESOL qualifications and meet the institution’s professional standards.
  • Represent the center in partner meetings, contributing insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for program expansion.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of hands‑on EFL teaching experience, with demonstrated success teaching learners aged 3‑18.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or coordination role within an English language institute.
  • Current 120‑hour TEFL certification, 120‑hour TESOL certification, and an advanced diploma‑level credential such as DELTA or DipTESOL.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple centers, schedule staff efficiently, and drive KPI achievement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer‑service mindset and a collaborative, team‑oriented attitude.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of performing under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and team, including attendance at workshops, conferences, and online courses.
  • Flexibility to be placed at either English 1 Makassar or Manado locations, with a willingness to travel between sites as needed.
  • Open to candidates of all genders; age is not a limiting factor.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary package with performance‑based bonuses tied to KPI attainment.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and eligible dependents.
  • Annual professional development allowance for certifications, conferences, and advanced training.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation days, sick leave, and public holidays.
  • Employee assistance program offering counseling, wellness resources, and work‑life balance support.
