Introduction
SPX Express, a leading Indonesian express and logistics provider, is expanding its network in Central Java. We are seeking a dynamic Spesialis Implementasi SPX Express to join our growing team in Semarang. This role is pivotal in ensuring that new warehouse hubs and sortation centers are ready for go‑live, adhering to our high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations Excellence, HSE, and local facility teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Monitor hub readiness for go‑live, confirming that all functional areas—manpower, HSE golden rules, equipment, renovation, line haul transport, and internet connectivity—are fully prepared.
- Coordinate the setup of Sortation Center warehouses in the field, translating design concepts from the Operations Excellence team into practical, on‑site implementations.
- Lead the handover process of warehouse facilities, ensuring seamless transition before and after operational launch by collaborating directly with the operational team.
- Develop detailed implementation schedules, track milestones, and produce status reports for senior management.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, employing strong problem‑solving skills to mitigate risks that could impact project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety standards, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate cross‑functional communication, acting as the primary liaison between engineering, procurement, HSE, and logistics operations.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to warehouse staff on new processes, equipment, and system integrations.
- Travel across Indonesia as required to support multiple project sites and ensure uniform implementation standards.
Requirements
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in any field; a background in logistics, engineering, or business is advantageous.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in express or logistics companies, specifically handling project management and implementation across Indonesia.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end logistics operations and warehouse management systems.
- Willingness to travel frequently and be stationed in Semarang, Central Java.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing project scopes.
