Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Xscape Kitchen’s recipes, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Assist the head chef with daily prep work, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service.
  • Maintain strict hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils after each shift.
  • Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and report any shortages or expired items to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations, including proper storage temperatures, cross‑contamination prevention, and personal hygiene protocols.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during peak service periods, helping to minimize wait times and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in regular kitchen deep‑cleaning schedules, including floor scrubbing, vent cleaning, and waste disposal.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen for special events, catering orders, and promotional nights.
  • Provide feedback on menu development, suggesting improvements based on ingredient availability and guest preferences.
