We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) / Sales Promotion Boy (SPB) to join our retail team in the vibrant city of Palu. The role operates on a seven‑day schedule, Monday through Sunday, with working hours from 10:00 to 22:00. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers promptly, providing product information and answering queries in a courteous manner.
- Present and demonstrate merchandise, highlighting key features and benefits to encourage purchases.
- Actively upsell and cross‑sell items to increase average transaction value and meet daily sales quotas.
- Maintain an inviting store atmosphere by ensuring product displays are tidy, well‑stocked, and visually appealing.
- Track foot traffic and identify opportunities to attract new visitors through promotional activities and in‑store events.
- Collaborate with the store manager and fellow team members to plan and execute sales campaigns, seasonal promotions, and product launches.
- Collect customer feedback and relay insights to the merchandising team to help refine product assortments.
- Handle point‑of‑sale transactions accurately, process returns, and follow up on loyalty program enrolments.
- Maintain personal grooming standards and wear the company‑provided uniform to reflect a professional brand image.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe shopping environment for both customers and staff.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA), Vocational School (SMK), or equivalent.
- Age: 18 – 28 years old.
- Open to all genders.
- No prior work experience required, though experience in retail sales is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Highly motivated, target‑driven, and comfortable working in a results‑oriented environment.
- Presentable appearance and willingness to follow the company’s dress code.
- Basic numeracy for handling cash transactions and inventory checks.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
