Introduction
The Faculty of Environmental Engineering at our university is seeking a dedicated Full‑Time Lecturer (Dosen Tetap) for the undergraduate program (S1). This role is ideal for candidates who hold at least a Master’s degree (S2) or a Doctorate (S3) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline and are eager to contribute to academic excellence, research innovation, and community outreach. The position is open to all genders and is designed for individuals who have not yet been assigned a NIDN (National Lecturer Identification Number) or NUPTK (Teacher Registration Number), providing a unique opportunity to build a distinguished academic career from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality lectures, laboratory sessions, and seminars for undergraduate courses in environmental engineering, ensuring alignment with the latest industry standards and sustainability practices.
- Develop, revise, and update curricula, course materials, and assessment tools to reflect emerging technologies and regulatory frameworks.
- Guide and mentor students on academic projects, internships, and final theses, fostering critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Engage in scholarly research, publish findings in reputable journals, and secure research grants that enhance the faculty’s reputation.
- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university‑wide initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with industry partners, government agencies, and NGOs to create experiential learning opportunities and community service projects.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and academic advising activities.
- Stay current with advancements in environmental policy, climate change mitigation, and sustainable resource management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Master’s degree (S2) or Doctorate (S3) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Applicants must not currently possess a NIDN or NUPTK.
- Comprehensive CV or Daftar Riwayat Hidup detailing academic and professional experience.
- Certified copies of diplomas and transcripts for S1, S2, and S3 degrees.
- Relevant professional certifications or competency certificates (e.g., ISO 14001 auditor, environmental impact assessment).
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Bahasa Indonesia and preferably English.
- Demonstrated ability to develop teaching materials and adopt innovative instructional technologies.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
- Effective teamwork, leadership, and mentorship capabilities.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
