Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant – General Ledger & Financial Reporting to join our finance team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and maintain the company’s general ledger entries on a daily basis, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, inter‑company accounts, and subsidiary ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and variance analyses to support strategic decision‑making.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audit cycles, providing required documentation and explanations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with local tax regulations, corporate policies, and internal control procedures.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to develop complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and financial models that enhance reporting efficiency.
- Support the senior accounting team in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the accounting function and propose automation or workflow enhancements.
- Maintain organized filing systems—both digital and physical—for all financial records, guaranteeing easy retrieval for audits or management reviews.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per company policy)
- Age: 18 – 40 years
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; further accounting coursework is a plus.
- Professional Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in bookkeeping, ledger management, or financial reporting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and familiarity with basic accounting software.
- Core Attributes: Discipline, honesty, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical thinking.
- Soft Skills: Effective communication, ability to work independently and within a team, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new financial regulations.
