Introduction

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer‑focused individuals to join our Front Office team as Staff Front Office – Layanan Pelanggan dan Administrasi. This position is offered as an internship within the hospitality division of Accor, one of the world’s leading hotel groups. The role provides a unique gateway into the dynamic world of hotel operations, allowing you to develop frontline guest‑service skills while supporting essential administrative functions.

Ideal candidates are active undergraduate students or recent graduates who have a genuine passion for hospitality, possess strong communication abilities, and are eager to learn in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor and manage the check‑in and check‑out process efficiently.
  • Answer telephone inquiries, respond to email requests, and provide accurate information about hotel services, rates, and local attractions.
  • Handle reservation entries, modifications, and cancellations using the property management system (PMS).
  • Process guest payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Address guest complaints or special requests promptly, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food‑beverage teams to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met.
  • Maintain front‑desk logs, daily reports, and other administrative documentation in an organized manner.
  • Assist in preparing shift handover reports to ensure seamless continuity between teams.
  • Support promotional and loyalty program enrollment for guests, encouraging repeat business.
  • Uphold the hotel’s brand standards by keeping the lobby area tidy, presentable, and welcoming at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; current undergraduate student or fresh graduate (preferably from Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field).
  • Maximum age: no specific limit, but the internship targets early‑career candidates.
  • Open to all genders.
  • No prior work experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Professional appearance, well‑groomed, and able to represent the hotel brand positively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High initiative, disciplined work ethic, and a responsible attitude toward assigned tasks.
  • Basic computer literacy, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and an openness to learn hotel‑specific software.
  • Willingness to commit to the full internship period as defined by the program.
