We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Customer Service Staff (Cashier) to join our team at Propan Service Center in Plumbon, Cirebon. As the front‑line representative of our store, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience, providing clear product information, and supporting the smooth operation of our retail environment. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, process sales transactions accurately, and handle cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Provide detailed and clear information about Propan’s product range, including specifications, safety guidelines, and promotional offers.
- Stay up‑to‑date with current promotions, new product launches, and seasonal campaigns, and proactively suggest relevant items to increase sales.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe store environment by regularly cleaning workstations, shelving, and customer areas.
- Assist in inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and reporting discrepancies to the store manager.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues when necessary while preserving a positive brand image.
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; all study majors are welcome.
- Age: 28 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of experience in retail, cashier, or customer service roles (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Professional appearance: clean, neat, and presentable at all times.
- Excellent communication skills—friendly, confident, and able to convey information clearly.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, including active listening, empathy, and the capacity to build rapport quickly.
- Adaptability to shifting sales targets and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
