Responsibilities
- Operate company‑owned vehicles in strict accordance with Category B1 licensing regulations and all local traffic laws.
- Plan and follow optimal routes using GPS and map tools, minimizing travel time while maintaining high safety standards.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance department.
- Provide courteous customer service, assisting passengers with luggage, answering queries, and ensuring a comfortable ride experience.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Adhere to company policies on punctuality, dress code, and vehicle cleanliness, reflecting a professional image at all times.
- Participate in regular safety briefings, training sessions, and emergency drills to stay current with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and fellow drivers to coordinate schedules, manage unexpected delays, and optimize fleet efficiency.
- Handle minor vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fluid refills.
- Promote a culture of high work ethic and teamwork by supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge of safe driving techniques.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Applicants must be within the legal driving age limit; no upper age restriction is imposed.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional driving experience with a clean record; prior experience in passenger or cargo transport is preferred.
- Licensing: Valid Category B1 driver’s license and a clean traffic violation history.
- Physical Fitness: Good health, strong stamina, and the ability to lift moderate loads (e.g., luggage up to 20 kg).
- Core Skills: Proficient in operating motorcycles and light vehicles, basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, and strong navigation abilities.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, punctuality, reliability, problem‑solving orientation, and a high work ethic.
- Location: Willingness to work in the Tempen area and surrounding districts.
