Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Staff Event & Promotion Operations professional to join our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) team. This role is pivotal in creating memorable brand experiences, driving consumer engagement, and supporting sales initiatives across retail and field environments. The successful candidate will operate in a collaborative, fast‑paced setting, balancing creativity with meticulous project management while enjoying the flexibility of mobile work during events.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute promotional events, in‑store activations, and roadshow campaigns that align with brand strategy and sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal marketing, sales, and logistics teams to secure venues, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring all activities stay on schedule and within cost parameters.
- Lead on‑site event set‑up, supervise staff and third‑party contractors, and troubleshoot any issues that arise in real time.
- Monitor and evaluate event performance through KPI tracking, post‑event reports, and consumer feedback, providing actionable insights for future initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including permits, insurance certificates, and compliance checklists for all promotional activities.
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling visual assets, signage, and promotional collateral.
- Support the development of innovative activation concepts that differentiate the brand in a competitive market.
- Travel to retail locations, trade shows, and regional events, adapting quickly to changing schedules and environments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners throughout the event lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Management, or a related field (minimum S1).
- At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience managing events or promotions, preferably within the FMCG or retail sector.
- Demonstrated creativity and strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas persuasively.
- Proven project‑management capabilities, including multitasking, budgeting, and deadline adherence.
- Excellent negotiation skills for securing venues, suppliers, and promotional partnerships.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a team‑oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work mobile and adjust hours during peak event periods (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Strong analytical mindset for measuring event ROI and producing clear reports.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Passion for staying current with industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging event technologies.
