Introduction

We are a fast‑growing multi‑cuisine restaurant seeking a highly motivated Chef Profesional dengan Pengalaman Manajerial to lead our kitchen operations. This full‑time position is based in a vibrant urban setting and offers the chance to work with both Chinese and Western culinary traditions. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in cooking techniques, a passion for menu innovation, and the ability to manage a dynamic team of kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and finalize daily and seasonal menus that showcase authentic Chinese and Western flavors while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and high quality for every dish served.
  • Manage inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to secure fresh ingredients and negotiate favorable pricing.
  • Implement and enforce strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement.
  • Monitor kitchen performance metrics, such as waste reduction, order turnaround time, and customer satisfaction, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house managers to align culinary offerings with guest expectations and promotional events.
  • Maintain accurate records of production costs, labor hours, and menu profitability to support budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Lead by example with a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to personal and team growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Preferably male candidates (as specified by the employer).
  • Proven experience in Chinese and/or Western cuisine, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and initiative.
  • Own a motorbike and hold a valid SIM C driving license for local travel and deliveries.
  • Strong culinary skills, creativity in recipe development, and a deep understanding of flavor profiles.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
