Introduction
The Senior Housekeeping Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining the immaculate appearance and operational efficiency of our hotel properties. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations across all assigned floors, ensuring timely completion of room cleaning, linen replenishment, and public area maintenance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor cleaning protocols that align with brand standards and local health regulations.
- Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces, documenting findings and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, coordinating with the purchasing department to prevent stockouts.
- Prepare staffing schedules that balance labor costs with service demand, while accommodating employee leave and overtime requirements.
- Collaborate with the front‑desk and maintenance teams to resolve guest requests, maintenance issues, and special service requests efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including daily reports, incident logs, and performance metrics.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing proper handling of chemicals, equipment usage, and adherence to occupational health and safety policies.
- Participate in periodic audits and contribute insights for continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates only, in accordance with local labor guidelines for this role.
- At least 0 years of supervisory experience in a hotel or resort housekeeping department (entry‑level candidates with strong leadership potential are welcome).
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and manage performance.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and budgeting principles.
- Physical stamina to perform inspections and assist with cleaning tasks when needed.
