Introduction
Amartha, a leading micro‑finance institution in Indonesia, is expanding its on‑the‑ground presence in the Sragen region. We are seeking a proactive and customer‑focused Business Partner Lapangan to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of Amartha in the field, identifying new borrowers, supporting existing members, and ensuring that our financing solutions reach those who need them most.
This full‑time position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with a competitive base salary plus performance‑based incentives, a company‑provided motorbike, and optional mess accommodation for those who wish to reside near the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers, presenting Amartha’s loan programs and guiding them through the application process.
- Provide ongoing economic counseling to household members, helping them manage cash flow, budgeting, and repayment plans.
- Conduct field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk criteria, and documentation standards.
- Prepare detailed recommendation reports for the credit committee, highlighting creditworthiness, collateral, and repayment capacity.
- Accompany members to weekly service meetings, facilitating transparent communication between borrowers and Amartha staff.
- Maintain accurate field records, update the CRM system in real time, and report key performance metrics to the regional manager.
- Collaborate with local community leaders and partner organizations to promote financial inclusion initiatives.
- Travel throughout the Sragen area, and when required, be willing to relocate to other Amartha branches across Indonesia.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) – candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (S1) are highly preferred.
- Age: Up to 33 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Possess a valid motorbike and a clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with diverse communities.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently in field conditions.
- Willingness to live in company‑provided mess housing (optional) to maximize field coverage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome, as are candidates with prior field or sales experience in micro‑finance or related sectors.
- Ability to read, write, and speak Bahasa Indonesia fluently; additional local dialects are a plus.
