Introduction
We are seeking an experienced long‑haul truck driver (Supir Truk) to join our growing logistics team in Jakarta Barat. This full‑time position involves operating a Colt Diesel Double truck on night shifts, delivering goods safely and efficiently across the region. The ideal candidate is a disciplined, reliable male driver under 40 years of age, equipped with a valid SIM B1, a solid understanding of the Jakarta Barat area, and a minimum of one year’s experience in long‑distance trucking.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Colt Diesel Double truck on assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Plan and navigate routes using Google Maps and other navigation tools to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and fuel receipts in accordance with company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Work night shifts (17:00‑02:00) from Monday to Saturday, remaining flexible for overtime when required.
- Observe and enforce all health, safety, and environmental regulations during transport and handling of goods.
- Utilize a personal Android smartphone (minimum 4 GB RAM) for route planning, communication, and digital documentation.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Male, maximum age of 40 years.
- Valid SIM B1 (commercial driver’s license) with active status.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience driving a Colt Diesel Double or similar long‑haul truck.
- Excellent knowledge of the Jakarta Barat area and surrounding routes.
- Proficiency with Google Maps, smartphone navigation, and basic truck‑maintenance management.
- Physical stamina to assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
- Strong time‑management skills, reliability, and a clean driving record.
- Good communication abilities and a teamwork‑oriented attitude.
