Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, process cash, credit, and digital transactions, and issue accurate receipts.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer, perform end‑of‑day reconciliation, and report any discrepancies to store management.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate pet food, accessories, and health products, providing knowledgeable recommendations based on species and lifestyle.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims in accordance with store policies, ensuring a smooth and courteous experience for each guest.
- Monitor inventory levels of high‑turnover items, flag low‑stock situations, and coordinate with the purchasing team to replenish shelves.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and welcoming, including regular sanitization of surfaces and equipment.
- Collaborate with veterinary service providers and grooming staff to schedule appointments and process related payments.
- Record and report daily sales metrics, customer feedback, and any incidents involving pets or merchandise.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on product knowledge, animal welfare standards, and POS system updates.
- Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and seasonal sales to increase average transaction value.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
