We are seeking a dedicated Professional Waiter to join our dynamic team at a bustling restaurant that serves a diverse clientele ranging from families to business professionals. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and answering basic questions about dishes and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using handheld POS systems, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are clearly noted.
- Serve meals and beverages in a timely manner, coordinating with kitchen staff to maintain proper timing and presentation.
- Check back with guests during their meal to confirm satisfaction and address any concerns immediately.
- Prepare and clear tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining area throughout service hours.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash or electronic transactions with precision.
- Collaborate closely with fellow waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen personnel to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper handling of food, utensils, and cleaning equipment.
- Participate in pre‑service briefings and post‑service debriefs to continuously improve service quality.
- Promote daily specials, upsell complementary items, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Open to all genders.
- Strong personal attributes: honesty, loyalty, discipline, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, supporting colleagues during peak periods.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic English.
- Customer‑service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures; prior experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work six days a week, including occasional holidays if required.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates safely.
