Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers in the Mojokerto area, presenting Amartha’s loan programs and explaining eligibility criteria.
- Conduct on‑site household economic assessments, gathering data on income streams, expenditures, and asset ownership to determine repayment capacity.
- Perform detailed feasibility studies and credit‑worthiness analyses of loan applications, adhering strictly to Amartha’s underwriting policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports for the internal credit committee, highlighting risk factors and suggested loan terms.
- Accompany members to weekly group meetings, facilitating peer‑to‑peer learning, monitoring loan usage, and supporting timely repayments.
- Maintain accurate field records using mobile data collection tools, ensuring that all client interactions are documented in real time.
- Collaborate with the regional operations team to share market insights, suggest product improvements, and contribute to the overall growth strategy.
- Travel across assigned territories, often using a personal two‑wheel vehicle, while respecting safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, guaranteeing that no fraudulent activities are involved in any stage of the loan process.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) is a plus.
- Age: 33 years maximum (candidates up to 35 years are considered).
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- Own a reliable two‑wheel vehicle for field visits.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build trust with low‑income families.
- High level of personal integrity – no prior involvement in fraud or financial misconduct.
- Willingness to be placed at any Amartha branch as business needs dictate.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with prior field experience are also welcome.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, from 08:00 am until the day’s tasks are completed (typically by 19:00 pm).
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, analyze consumer data, and make sound recommendations.
