Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Kasir Penjualan Retail dan Pelayanan Pelanggan to join our fast‑moving retail team. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering seamless checkout experiences while providing friendly, professional service to every customer who walks through our doors. The successful candidate will work a standard Monday‑Saturday schedule, with flexible shift coverage to meet peak shopping periods.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash, credit, and digital payments with a high degree of accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product inquiries, and guide them through promotions and loyalty programs.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies (bags, receipts, promotional flyers) are stocked.
- Reconcile daily cash drawers, prepare end‑of‑day reports, and flag any discrepancies for management review.
- Assist with inventory counts, restocking shelves, and verifying price tags to prevent pricing errors.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies while preserving a positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with floor staff to resolve customer complaints swiftly and professionally.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to log sales data, update spreadsheets, and generate performance summaries.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new POS features, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
- Adhere to health, safety, and security protocols, ensuring a safe environment for both shoppers and coworkers.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate degree) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience as a cashier, preferably in a retail environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with POS software.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English is a plus.
- High motivation, presentable appearance, and good physical and mental health.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Demonstrated honesty, diligence, and attention to detail.
