Introduction
PT. Prima Fabrication Solutions, a leading manufacturer in the metal‑fabrication and quality‑control sector, is seeking a dynamic Supervisor Produksi Fabrikasi dan Pengendalian Kualitas to lead our production floor. The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, ensuring seamless coordination between leaders, operators, and cross‑functional teams. This role operates from Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and offers a challenging environment where technical expertise, leadership, and continuous improvement intersect.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and maintain detailed production schedules; generate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior management.
- Coordinate tasks and priorities for Leaders and Operators, ensuring clear communication of work orders and production targets.
- Calculate workloads, allocate resources, and supervise workflow to guarantee the availability of raw materials, tools, and equipment.
- Interpret and translate SPP (bending & fabrication) specifications into actionable instructions for the production team.
- Liaise with other departments (procurement, engineering, logistics) and manage subcontractor activities to maintain project timelines.
- Monitor welding, assembly, and other fabrication processes, confirming compliance with company standards, industry specifications, and safety regulations.
- Drive operational efficiency by identifying bottlenecks, minimizing downtime, and implementing lean manufacturing practices.
- Oversee inventory control, track usage of consumables, and ensure timely replenishment of production supplies.
- Identify and propose new product development opportunities within the fabrication domain to support corporate growth.
- Utilize AutoCAD 2D & 3D (version 5) for design review, technical drawing interpretation, and modification of fabrication drawings.
- Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality consciousness.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in fabrication supervision or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to manage production schedules, lead multidisciplinary teams, and achieve on‑time delivery.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D (version 5) and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Solid understanding of welding techniques, metal‑bending processes, and assembly operations.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a track record of reducing downtime and improving process efficiency.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to coordinate with internal departments and external subcontractors.
