Introduction
We are a leading hospitality provider seeking a dedicated Male Room Attendant – Housekeeping to join our dynamic team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay. The successful candidate will work six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will be an ambassador of our brand’s high standards of service and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms to meet the hotel’s quality benchmarks.
- Refresh room amenities by restocking towels, linens, toiletries, and minibar supplies, and ensure all inventory is logged accurately.
- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues or damages and promptly report them to the engineering department.
- Adhere to the hotel’s health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and usage of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with the front‑desk and concierge teams to coordinate room turnovers and special guest requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, elevators, and service stations in accordance with the hotel’s housekeeping schedule.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on the latest cleaning techniques, sustainability practices, and service standards.
- Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with guests, addressing inquiries or concerns with a helpful attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the hotel’s operational policy).
- Age range: 18‑30 years.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively with international guests and team members.
- Strong work ethic, discipline, and honesty.
- Positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
- Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights, and stand for extended periods.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate smoothly with housekeeping supervisors and other hotel departments.
