Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer – Corporate Safety Management to join our professional team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and assets across our corporate facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in security operations, a strong sense of discipline, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, shift‑based setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous protection of the workplace by monitoring entry points, surveillance systems, and perimeter controls.
- Control and verify the access of visitors, contractors, and employees, ensuring proper identification and registration procedures are followed.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned zones, both on foot and by vehicle, to deter unauthorized activities and respond promptly to incidents.
- Maintain a detailed daily incident log, documenting any security breaches, safety hazards, or noteworthy observations.
- Coordinate with emergency services and internal response teams during alarms, fire drills, or other crisis situations.
- Perform routine checks of fire extinguishers, alarm systems, and other safety equipment to verify functionality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, standard operating procedures, and risk‑assessment reports.
- Participate in shift hand‑overs, providing clear communication about ongoing issues, pending tasks, and critical observations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a security role, preferably within a corporate or industrial environment.
- Active Security Membership Card (KTA) and a valid Gada Pratama certification.
- Physically and mentally fit, capable of handling demanding shift schedules.
- Strong sense of discipline, integrity, and the ability to act decisively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and law‑enforcement agencies.
- Proficiency in basic security analysis, audit procedures, and incident reporting.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, Monday through Saturday, 08:30 – 17:30 (with possible overtime or night shifts as operational needs dictate).
