Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Pharmacist (Asisten Apoteker Penunjang Pelayanan Farmasi) to join our dynamic pharmacy team at a busy outpatient clinic. Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist in compounding sterile and non‑sterile preparations, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate timely re‑ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Verify the expiry dates of all medicines, remove expired products, and document disposal according to regulatory standards.
- Provide basic counseling to patients on dosage, administration routes, and common side effects, escalating complex queries to the pharmacist.
- Support the pharmacy in handling emergency drug requests and rapid response situations, especially during peak clinic hours.
- Participate in routine cleaning and sanitization of the pharmacy work area to uphold infection‑control protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure seamless medication reconciliation during patient admissions and discharges.
- Document all pharmaceutical activities in the clinic’s electronic health record system, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
- Stay current with national pharmacy regulations, formulary updates, and emerging best practices through continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (as stipulated by clinic policy).
- Education: Minimum SMK (Vocational High School) in Pharmacy; preference given to candidates holding a D3/D4 degree in Pharmacy.
- Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum age limit as per local regulations).
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
