Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging mathematics curricula aligned with the national senior high school standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Facilitate classroom discussions, problem‑solving workshops, and laboratory sessions to deepen conceptual understanding.
- Monitor student progress through regular quizzes, mid‑term and final examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Identify and support students who require additional assistance, offering remedial classes or tutoring as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects, especially those linking mathematics with science, technology, and engineering.
- Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum review committees, and professional development seminars.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance reports in accordance with institutional policies.
- Uphold the school’s code of conduct, demonstrating loyalty, integrity, and a commitment to the institution’s mission.
- For Madin (religious) teaching duties: read and interpret kitab kuning, apply Nahwu‑Shorof principles, and incorporate Islamic values into the learning environment.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics or a related field; Master’s degree (S2) is a strong advantage.
- Academic background must be linear with the teaching position (Mathematics specialization).
- Preferably a graduate from a public university (PTN) with a solid academic record.
- No concurrent affiliations with other educational institutions.
- Demonstrated loyalty and adherence to school policies and regulations.
- For Madin responsibilities:
- Proficiency in reading kitab kuning and mastery of Nahwu‑Shorof.
- Completed at least five years of pesantren education.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English, to effectively convey complex mathematical concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, fostering a respectful and motivating classroom atmosphere.
