This role is pivotal to ensuring that custom designs are transferred onto garments with precision, speed, and consistency. The successful candidate will join a dynamic production team, work with state‑of‑the‑art Direct‑to‑Film (DTF) printing equipment, and contribute to the rapid growth of Kaosan’s retail printing services.
Responsibilities
- Operate DTF printing machines efficiently, setting up each job according to customer specifications and ensuring accurate color reproduction.
- Perform daily machine preparation, including loading film, inks, and adhesive powders, and verify that all consumables are within tolerance levels.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning print heads, calibrating color profiles, and replacing worn parts to guarantee optimal machine performance.
- Inspect printed outputs for defects (e.g., banding, color shift, misalignment) and execute corrective actions promptly to maintain product quality standards.
- Document production metrics—including run time, material usage, and waste—into the company’s ERP system for traceability.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to monitor stock levels of films, inks, and transfer sheets, and request replenishment before shortages occur.
- Collaborate closely with designers, pre‑press operators, and finishing staff to ensure a seamless workflow from order intake to final delivery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participate in regular safety briefings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following Kaosan’s environmental guidelines for waste segregation and recycling.
- Generate daily production reports and assist in monthly inventory audits to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience operating DTF or similar textile printing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and CorelDRAW for interpreting design files and preparing print layouts.
- Strong understanding of DTF machine mechanics, including calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to detect and resolve quality issues quickly.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working within a multi‑disciplinary production team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with occupational health standards.
- Flexibility to work a full schedule of Monday‑Sunday, 09:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime during peak order periods.
