Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient front‑line service, greeting customers, answering inquiries, and guiding them to suitable products.
- Accurately operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, handle cash transactions, issue receipts, and perform end‑of‑shift cash reconciliation.
- Maintain product displays, restock shelves, and ensure that merchandise is presented attractively and complies with hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low‑stock items, and assist in receiving and unpacking deliveries.
- Identify sales opportunities, upsell complementary items, and achieve daily/weekly sales targets set by management.
- Handle customer complaints or returns with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary to preserve customer satisfaction.
- Observe and enforce store safety protocols, including emergency evacuation procedures and proper handling of perishable goods.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members during shift changes, ensuring seamless handovers and consistent service quality.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance with food safety regulations.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Experience: At least 1 year in a cashier or retail staff role; fresh graduates are welcome if they demonstrate strong motivation.
- Core Skills:
- High accuracy in cash handling and data entry.
- Analytical ability to track sales trends and suggest improvements.
- Strong business ethics and compliance with store procedures.
- Customer‑focus: understanding needs, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining confidentiality of personal data.
- Effective communication and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings (05:00‑14:00).
