Haya Private Course, a reputable tutoring centre established in 2019, is expanding its team of passionate educators across several key regions in Indonesia, including Bandung, Jabodetabek, Central Java, East Java, Medan, Padang, Palembang, and Balikpapan. We are looking for young, dynamic talent to join our family of “Kakak Guru” as freelance instructors. This role offers a hybrid work model—allowing you to teach either on‑site or online—making it ideal for students or professionals seeking a flexible schedule that fits around academic commitments or personal pursuits.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in one of the following subjects: Calistung (reading, writing, arithmetic), BTQ (reading and writing Quran), English, Mathematics, Mandarin, or thematic studies.
- Design and adapt curriculum materials to suit the learning styles and developmental stages of children aged 5‑12.
- Employ interactive teaching methods—games, storytelling, multimedia tools—to maintain high student motivation and participation.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction plans accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about student performance, upcoming topics, and any required support.
- Maintain a professional and nurturing classroom environment, whether teaching in‑person at a learning centre or via virtual platforms.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and curriculum developers to share best practices and continuously improve instructional quality.
- Comply with Haya Private Course policies on attendance, lesson reporting, and data privacy.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any major is acceptable).
- Age range: 19‑27 years old.
- At least 1 year of relevant teaching or tutoring experience; fresh graduates with strong communication skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English; additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin) are a plus for specific subject tracks.
- Demonstrated ability to understand child‑centered learning methods and create enjoyable, age‑appropriate teaching materials.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds.
- Availability to work weekdays, typically 08:00‑17:00, with flexibility for hybrid (online/offline) assignments.
