Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Account Officer (Collection) to join our dynamic team in Batam, Kepulauan Riau. This role serves as a critical link between our company’s financial products and both existing and prospective customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing credit applications, and ensuring timely collections while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
The position offers a competitive work schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00–16:00, and provides an excellent platform for recent graduates or early‑career professionals to develop their sales and collection expertise in a fast‑growing market.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company’s financial and credit products to existing customers and new prospects, tailoring solutions to meet individual needs.
- Generate orders through established distribution channels, capturing initial data, verifying customer information, and assembling complete credit applications.
- Monitor the end‑to‑end progress of each credit application, coordinating with underwriting teams and communicating decisions promptly to dealers and customers.
- Provide customers with clear information on payment schedules, due dates, collection locations, and any additional requirements to ensure smooth transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, documentation, and collection activities using the company’s CRM system.
- Conduct follow‑up calls and visits to ensure timely payment, resolve disputes, and build long‑term relationships.
- Collaborate with internal sales, finance, and legal departments to address complex cases and improve collection processes.
- Identify opportunities for cross‑selling additional products, contributing to the achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product features, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any major) – fresh graduates are welcome.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar collection or sales role (experience is a plus but not mandatory).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to negotiate and influence.
- High level of integrity, diligence, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Own a valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for field visits.
- Proficiency in basic sales management tools, B2C sales techniques, and credit assessment processes.
- Ability to work according to the candidate’s domicile (placement will align with residential location).
