Introduction
The Account Officer position at our Cabang Palur branch is a pivotal role within our banking network, responsible for building strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients. This role focuses on credit marketing, loan origination, and comprehensive customer service to drive growth in the local market. Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new loan customers through field visits, networking events, and referral programs.
- Conduct thorough credit analyses, evaluate financial statements, and assess repayment capacity to determine loan eligibility.
- Prepare detailed credit proposals and present recommendations to the credit approval committee.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing borrowers, ensuring timely repayments and cross‑selling additional banking products.
- Monitor portfolio performance, flag potential delinquencies, and initiate remedial actions in coordination with risk management.
- Coordinate with internal departments (legal, operations, and treasury) to ensure smooth loan disbursement and documentation.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while adhering to the bank’s compliance and risk policies.
- Prepare regular reports on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback for senior management.
- Utilize personal transportation and a valid SIM C to cover the assigned geographic area efficiently.
- Participate in community events and financial education workshops to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- Male or female, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: D3 or S1 in any discipline; preferred majors include Economics, Management, or Banking.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Account Officer or Credit Marketing Officer; fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze credit data, interpret financial ratios, and make sound lending decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer‑centric approach.
- Target‑oriented mindset with proven ability to work independently in the field.
- Valid SIM C and personal vehicle for local travel.
- In‑depth knowledge of the Cabang Palur area and its economic landscape.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with banking software.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
