Responsibilities
- Execute daily parcel deliveries to customers across the Bekasi metropolitan area, adhering strictly to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and service level agreements.
- Sort incoming shipments by zone and route, ensuring each package is correctly labeled and loaded onto the motorbike in the most efficient sequence.
- Maintain accurate delivery records using the JNE mobile application, confirming receipt with customer signatures or digital acknowledgment.
- Handle cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions securely, reconciling daily collections and reporting any discrepancies to the dispatch supervisor.
- Perform routine checks of the assigned motorbike, including fuel level, tire pressure, and overall mechanical condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customer service teams to resolve delivery exceptions, address customer inquiries, and update routing information in real time.
- Observe strict safety protocols, wearing required protective gear and following traffic regulations to protect both personal well‑being and company assets.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on customer service excellence, handling of fragile items, and updates to delivery technology platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: No upper age limit; candidates must be physically capable of handling delivery duties.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar courier or delivery role (candidates without prior experience are still encouraged to apply).
- Valid SIM C driver’s license and an active vehicle registration (STNK) for a personal motorbike.
- Own a reliable motorbike suitable for city navigation.
- Reside in or near Bekasi, with strong familiarity of the city’s streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
- Own an Android smartphone with at least 4 GB RAM to run JNE’s delivery application.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, and to meet daily delivery targets.
- Core soft skills: excellent communication etiquette, rapid adaptation to route changes, strong service orientation, and a commitment to punctuality.
