Introduction
The Ahli Teknologi Laboratorium Medis Klinik (ATLM) is a vital role within our clinical laboratory team, responsible for delivering accurate and timely diagnostic results that directly impact patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform collection, preparation, and analysis of clinical specimens, including blood, urine, and microbiological samples, following strict aseptic techniques.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation such as hematology analyzers, chemistry platforms, and microbiology incubators.
- Conduct routine quality control (QC) and proficiency testing to ensure analytical accuracy and compliance with national accreditation standards.
- Interpret test results, verify data integrity, and generate clear, concise laboratory reports for physicians and healthcare providers.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, results, and equipment maintenance logs in accordance with ISO 15189 and local health regulations.
- Assist in the validation of new assays, reagents, and technologies, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage inventory of reagents, consumables, and safety supplies, placing orders and ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and interns on laboratory best practices, biosafety, and proper instrument usage.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions, offering expert insight into laboratory findings that guide patient treatment plans.
- Support the clinic’s infection control program by monitoring specimen handling and waste disposal protocols.
Requirements
- Indonesian citizenship; maximum age of 35 years.
- Residency in Kebumen or surrounding areas is highly preferred.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; additional technical training in medical laboratory science is advantageous.
- Possession of a valid STR accreditation or an STR in the process of being issued.
- Proficiency with computer applications, including laboratory information systems (LIS) and basic Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, to interact effectively with physicians, patients, and team members.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high accuracy in test results.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities, especially when troubleshooting instrument errors or unexpected results.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional on‑call duties for urgent testing.
