We are looking for a motivated Barista Junior – Coffee Service Specialist to join our vibrant coffee shop team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, drip coffee, and cold brews in accordance with company standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee‑making equipment safely and efficiently.
- Execute basic latte art techniques to enhance presentation; develop skills toward more advanced designs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, take orders accurately, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverages and food items.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system with attention to detail.
- Assist in inventory management, receiving deliveries, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth service during peak hours and support a positive team culture.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up‑to‑date on new menu items, brewing methods, and customer service best practices.
- Uphold the brand’s image by maintaining a well‑groomed appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 28 years or younger.
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- At least 3 months of experience in a coffee shop or food‑and‑beverage (F&B) environment.
- Ability to operate an espresso machine and understand basic coffee extraction principles.
- Basic latte art skills are a plus.
- Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- High standards of personal hygiene, neatness, and a well‑groomed appearance.
- Honesty, discipline, and courteous behavior toward customers and staff.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic English.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
