Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages following company recipes and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering menu questions, and recommending drinks based on individual preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and ensure accurate cash drawer reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, reporting shortages to the shift supervisor for timely re‑ordering.
- Collaborate closely with fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and management to guarantee smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product tastings, and coffee‑brew workshops to continuously improve technical skills and product knowledge.
- Uphold the café’s brand standards, including dress code, personal hygiene, and a “no drama” workplace attitude.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, such as setting up equipment, cleaning espresso machines, and securing the premises.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
