Responsibilities
- Proactively search for and engage potential new borrowers, presenting Amartha’s capital‑loan programs and guiding them through enrollment.
- Provide ongoing economic counseling and support to existing member households, helping them manage finances and improve business sustainability.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and thorough feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk criteria, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, survey results, and credit assessments using the company’s digital platforms.
- Execute timely collection activities, following up on repayment schedules, addressing client concerns, and coordinating with the back‑office finance team.
- Collaborate closely with regional supervisors and the training department to continuously improve field methodologies and share best practices.
- Participate in community events and local networking groups to raise awareness of Amartha’s mission and expand the borrower pipeline.
- Report daily and weekly performance metrics, including new leads generated, applications processed, and collection rates, to ensure transparency and drive performance incentives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
- Both male and female candidates are welcome; female applicants are given preference.
- Own a reliable motorbike or car to travel across the Ciamis territory daily.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, meticulousness, strong communication skills, resilience, and discipline.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to adhere to a full‑time schedule (Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00).
- No prior experience required, though any background in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance will be considered an advantage.
- Basic digital literacy and the ability to use mobile data collection tools for surveys and reporting.
