Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cashier – Customer Service & Transaction Specialist to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role blends front‑of‑house cash handling with attentive wait‑staff duties, providing guests with a seamless dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. Responsibilities
- Accurately process cash, credit, and mobile payments using our point‑of‑sale (POS) system while maintaining strict adherence to company cash‑handling policies.
- Welcome guests, present menus, and answer basic inquiries about daily specials, dietary options, and restaurant hours.
- Take food and beverage orders, relay them promptly to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery to the table.
- Monitor table turnover, clear and reset tables efficiently, and maintain a clean, organized dining area.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, inventory counts, and securing the premises.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, fellow waiters, and management to coordinate busy service periods and special events.
- Maintain a polished personal appearance and uphold hygiene standards in line with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new menu items, POS upgrades, and customer‑service best practices.
- Work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and full‑time shifts, to meet the restaurant’s operational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent (high school diploma).
- Female candidates only; age not to exceed 28 years and preferably single.
- Prior experience as a waiter or waitress is highly preferred; experience in cash handling is a plus.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, initiative, and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Strong team‑player mindset with the capacity to perform under pressure during peak service hours.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is advantageous.
- Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining a clean, presentable work environment.
- Ability to work on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as full‑time (08:00‑17:00) schedules.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic mathematical skills for cash reconciliation.
