We are seeking a dedicated Guru Kelas Sekolah Menengah Pertama to join our vibrant teaching community in Bireuen and its surrounding areas. Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess daily lesson plans for middle‑school subjects in alignment with the national curriculum.
- Integrate Islamic values and Qur’anic teachings into classroom activities, fostering a balanced intellectual and moral education.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, grades, and progress reports while providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Organize extracurricular programs such as Qur’an memorization circles, reading clubs, and community service projects.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, school leadership, and support staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and school‑wide initiatives.
- Participate in regular professional development workshops, staff meetings, and parent‑teacher conferences.
- Uphold school policies on discipline, safety, and inclusivity, ensuring a respectful and supportive learning environment.
- Mentor new teachers and assist in the orientation of student volunteers, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in PGSD, FKIP, or Tarbiyah.
- Age: Open to all ages, with a preference for candidates who can commit long‑term to the school community.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Religion: Must be a practicing Muslim; unmarried status is preferred but not mandatory.
- Residence: Must reside in Bireuen or nearby districts to ensure punctuality and community involvement.
- Skills: Ability to read the Qur’an fluently; memorization of at least one Juz is highly valued.
- Personal Qualities: Passion for children’s education, strong discipline, willingness to be coached, and excellent teamwork abilities.
- Additional Competencies: Effective classroom management, creative lesson design, and basic proficiency in educational technology.
