Introduction
Grainsly BXC, a fast‑growing specialty coffee and retail brand located in the vibrant South Tangerang area, is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our front‑of‑house team as Kasir & Barista. Responsibilities
- Accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments using the store’s POS system while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages in accordance with Grainsly BXC’s standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers) and perform routine cleaning to ensure optimal performance and food safety compliance.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, upsell seasonal promotions, and answer customer inquiries with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables; report low stock and assist with restocking tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the front counter, seating zone, and equipment stations, following health and safety protocols.
- Handle customer complaints or issues promptly, escalating to management when necessary to preserve a positive brand image.
- Support team members during peak periods by multitasking between cashier duties and drink preparation, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new menu items, brewing techniques, and the ESB (Electronic Sales & Billing) system to stay current with operational standards.
- Contribute ideas for improving service efficiency, product offerings, and overall customer satisfaction during staff meetings.
Requirements
- Age: 18‑30 years.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a cashier role; 6 months of experience operating a coffee machine is a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with POS and cash handling procedures.
- Familiarity with coffee equipment operation (espresso machine, grinder, etc.).
- Basic understanding of the ESB (Electronic Sales & Billing) system is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
- Strong multitasking and time‑management capabilities.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
- Location: Preference given to candidates residing in South Tangerang or surrounding areas.
- Availability: Immediate start preferred; flexible to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00.
