Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, applying discounts, and processing cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, performing regular reconciliations to prevent discrepancies.
- Provide friendly, attentive service to customers, answering product queries, offering recommendations, and handling returns or exchanges according to store policy.
- Monitor the checkout area for cleanliness and organization, restocking impulse‑buy items and ensuring promotional materials are up‑to‑date.
- Assist in daily inventory counts, reporting any stock shortages, damaged goods, or pricing errors to the store manager.
- Collaborate with floor staff to manage peak‑hour traffic, minimizing wait times and enhancing overall store efficiency.
- Record and report any incidents, such as suspected fraud or technical issues with the POS system, to senior management promptly.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new product lines, sales techniques, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (Perempuan)
- Age: Maximum 25 years old.
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK/Sederajat (high school diploma or equivalent).
- Professional appearance: Presentable and well‑groomed to reflect the store’s brand image.
- Core attributes: Honest, diligent, hard‑working, responsible, and meticulous.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Key skills: Familiarity with cash register systems (Sistem Kasir), basic math proficiency, and strong verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle a moderate level of physical activity.
